Alcohol treatment

This data shows successful completions as a proportion of all in treatment. A successful completion means an alcohol user is free of alcohol dependence.

The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities classifies successful completion of alcohol treatment as those who leave structured treatment free of alcohol dependency.

 

The latest data from 2023/24 suggests that the successful completions for alcohol treatment in Buckinghamshire was 34.3%. This was similar to the South East (35.9%) and for England (35.3%).

 

 

There is no significant difference in trend over the last 5 years.

 

There is variation in rates of alcohol treatment across Buckinghamshire and the Council have developed an interactive ‘Community Board Dashboard’ which shows rates at a local level.
