The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities classifies successful completion of alcohol treatment as those who leave structured treatment free of alcohol dependency.

The latest data from 2022/23 suggests that the successful completions for alcohol treatment in Buckinghamshire was 34.9%. This was similar to the South East (35.6%) and for England (36.0%).

There is no significant difference in trend over the last 5 years.

There is variation in rates of alcohol treatment across Buckinghamshire and the Council have developed an interactive ‘Community Board Dashboard’ which shows rates at a local level.
